This multi-national project (part funded by the European Commission's Leonardo da Vinci programme) - was completed at the end of October 2004 - concerns the development of a series of assessment tools (CV builder) and learning strategies to ensure persons with a learning disability have equal-access to job opportunities. Employers will be also be closely involved in this project. This courseware is available on an interactive CD-Rom

In summary, the Project is defined as providing Equality of Access and Empowerment through the development of:

• Learning courseware designed to develop communication skills leading to employment.

• Coaches e-learning courseware to support the learner in developing these skills.

• Computer based e-assessment using a ‘CV-Builder’.

An employer’s e-learning package designed to raise employer awareness of the strengths and needs of the defined target group.

The target group could be defined as:

• Persons with socio/inter-actional disabilities

• Beneficiaries in transition from education to employment or those seeking employment

The Foundation acted as Promoter and Project Manager for this multi-sectoral project.
