This multi-national project (part funded by
the European Commission's Leonardo da Vinci programme) concerns
the development of a series of assessment tools (CV builder) and
learning strategies to ensure persons with a learning disability
have equal-access to job opportunities.
Employers were also closely involved in this project. This
courseware is available on an interactive CD-Rom.
In summary, the Project is defined as providing Equality of
Access and Empowerment through the development of:
(1) Learning courseware designed to develop communication skills
leading to employment.
(2) Coaches e-learning courseware to support the learner in
developing these skills.
(3) Computer based e-assessment using a ‘CV-Builder’.
An employer’s e-learning package designed to raise employer
awareness of the strengths and needs of the defined target
group.
The target group could be defined as:
(1) Persons with socio/inter-actional disabilities
(2) Beneficiaries in transition from education to employment or
those seeking employment
The Foundation acted as Promoter and Project Manager for this
multi-sectoral project.
NOTE: The CD has been enhanced and further enhanced
developed since it's original production.
